I grew up in the heart of Seattle, a vibrant backdrop to cultivate and develop creativity. Although I have a strong background in fine art, I chose to study animation at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design where I graduated with honours in 2004. I married and relocated to Edinburgh to be with my husband in 2006.
I was selected to participate in the pilot programĀ NEATS (New Entrants Animation Training Scheme) run by Scottish Screen in 2007. The scheme chose six animators from a highly competitive pool of applicants and placed them in two major studios over the course of the year. Since then, I have worked on adverts, virals, banners, and short films in various creative capacities for many production companies in Scotland. Recently, I directed a short commissioned film produced by mediaco-op for CEDAR Project. I currently work at Kolik Films in Edinburgh as their Studio Manager.
I continue my exploration of fine art through my paintings, which have been shown in dozens of exhibitions across Scotland over the last four years. I have a few small publications out there as well.
